BRANDT will be hosting the dirt track event of the summer, The Twin BRANDT 60's, at Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, IL on Sunday, June 30th, 2013. BRANDT FINISHES THE 2012 NASCAR SEASON
The 2012 season has come to a close with the BRANDT team claiming the sixth position in the NASCAR Nationwide Series Championship point standings. Justin Allgaier and the No. 31 Chevrolet of Turner Motorsports notched one win, six top-fives and 19 top-10’s for an overall total of 1076 championship points. The one win came on a last-lap pass at the historic Montreal (Canada) road course, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The 2012 season marks the fourth full-time season for Allgaier in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
"The BRANDT Team has worked really hard all season, scored a win and numerous top-10 finishes. We accomplished a lot as a team and had a great time in the process. I’m looking forward to the off season and really focusing in on 2013 to make a run for the championship", said Allgaier.

ALLGAIER SCORES FIRST WIN OF 2012 IN WILD FINISH AT MONTREAL

MONTREAL, Quebec (August 18, 2012) – In a finish only fitting of a NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race, Justin Allgaier survived two green-white-checkered finish attempts to lead the only important lap of the race- the final circuit. Allgaier had been a contender for a solid finish all afternoon, keeping his BRANDT Chevy in the top-10 for a majority of the originally scheduled 74-lap race. However, due to a late-race caution, the race was extended past that distance with two additional attempts at a green-white-checkered finish. Allgaier’s winning pass took place in turn six of the 14-turn track and he deftly held off Sam Hornish Jr. to take the checkered flag for his first win of the season and first win at a road course. The win also bunched up the NNS driver point standings and Allgaier now sits fifth, only 33 points back from fourth and 68 points out of the lead. Read more >

BRANDT FEATURED FOR ITS USE OF HIGH TECH PROTOTYPE PLANTER
SPRINGFIELD, Illinois (April 19, 2012) – BRANDT, a company synonymous with modern innovation, was recently featured for its use of a prototype planter intended to maximize research efforts and results at its Research Farm in Pleasant Plains, Illinois. Many farmers and ag businesses plant test plots to see how different varieties of seeds grow in different conditions. Typically each test gets one pass through the field. But Monsanto has created a new planter that can vary the planting rate(how many seeds per acre), the insecticide rate, and even what variety is planted. BRANDT TO EXPAND LANDSCAPE AND HORTICULTURAL OFFERINGS

LOCAL FARMER, BRANDT HONORED FOR CONSERVATION
LIVINGSTON COUNTY, IL (January 24, 2012) – At its annual meeting today, the Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) board honored a local farm family and two local businesses for their efforts in protecting and improving the soil and water resources in Livingston County.
Harms Family Farms, Kafer Tiling and Excavating and Brandt were all honored with Conservation Partner Awards.
Harms Family Farms, comprised of Norman, Kevin and Danny Harms, farm approximately 3,250 acres of corn and soybeans, along with raising heifers for a nearby dairy producer. They were recognized for their work with two demonstration plots, as well as five different enhancement practices on their farms.
Kafer Tiling and Excavating received its award for helping local producers establish grass waterways, control structures and tiling according to conservation best practices.
Plant manager Gerry Vance was on hand to receive the award on behalf of Brandt Consolidated. The company was recognized for many projects over the years to improve the quality of water and nutrient management programs. Brad Schmidgall and Pat Schaddel also attended.
