BRANDT Acquires Altiara, Leading Mexican Manufacturer of Specialty Ag Products
Tampa, Florida (October 5, 2026)— BRANDT, a global manufacturer of specialty agriculture products and leading U.S. agriculture retailer, has acquired all the shares of Agrícola Innovación, S.A. de C.V. (Altiara). Altiara, based in Mexico City and Pachuca, Mexico, manufactures, distributes and sells specialty nutrition products, OMRI-listed bio-solutions, plant protection products and agricultural adjuvants.
Altiara will significantly strengthen BRANDT’s presence in Latin America, adding manufacturing capabilities, expanding its customer base and increasing access in the growing organic and biological products markets.

Altiara’s business will operate under the BRANDT International business unit, led by Mauricio Andrião, VP, BRANDT International. All Altiara employees will be retained, with company leadership reporting to the functional business leads at BRANDT. The company will be rebranded as “Altiara, A BRANDT Company.”
“Last year, we identified Mexico as one of our primary growth countries for its deep agriculture segment, fit with our high-technology products and overall potential,” explained Andrião. “So when the opportunity came up to acquire Altiara, we were immediately interested.
