BRANDT Awards Scholarships Through National FFA Foundation

Springfield, Illinois (May 5, 2023) – BRANDT, a leading retailer of professional agronomic services and manufacturer of specialty Ag input products, is proud to announce the recipients of three scholarships awarded to students that are committed to pursuing degrees in agriculture. The scholarships are awarded in coordination with the National FFA Foundation.

The 2023 scholarships include:

• The Pat Schaddel Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Molly Blum from the Polo FFA Chapter. Blum is a college freshman at the University of Illinois - Champaign, majoring in agronomy & crop science. She intends to pursue a career in agronomy.
• The Gordon R. Thomas Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Braydon DeCounter from the West Prairie FFA Chapter. DeCounter is a college freshman at Lincoln Land Community College, majoring in animal nutrition. He intends to pursue a career in animal science.
• The BRANDT Agronomic Services Scholarship has been awarded to Jack Wall from the Greenville FFA Chapter. Wall is a college freshman at the University of Illinois - Champaign, majoring in agronomy & crop science. He intends to pursue a career as a farmer or seed dealer.

These scholarships are awarded annually to FFA members who plan to pursue careers in agriculture. BRANDT is committed to investing in the next generation of agricultural leaders and supporting the development of the industry.
