BRANDT Builds International Team, Adds Commercial Director for LATAM Region
Tampa, Florida (June 17, 2026)—As BRANDT continues to grow its global business, the company is adding another high-performing professional to its international business unit. Rodrigo Retamal will join BRANDT on June 17 as commercial director for BRANDT’s LATAM region covering Mexico, Caribbean, Central America and South America except for Brazil.
A resident of Santiago, Chile, Retamal will be responsible for leading sales operations across LATAM, driving strategic execution in alignment with local teams, and ensuring profitability, sustainable growth, and regulatory compliance. He will play a key part in building a worldclass commercial organization that delivers both exceptional products and outstanding client service.
Retamal will report to Mauricio Andrião, Vice President, BRANDT International.

Retamal joins BRANDT with over 20 years of experience leading commercial, marketing and innovation teams across multinational companies in Chile and Latin America.
Over the years, Retamal worked at some of the most important companies in agribusiness. He started his career at Dow Agrosciences before moving to Syngenta. From there, he worked at Anasac before spending the last seven years at Agroconnexion. His last role was general manager of Agroconnexion Chile where he had full country P&L responsibilities.
Retamal graduated with a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Chile and holds an M.Sc. in International Agribusiness from Georg-August-Universitat Gottingen in Germany.
