BRANDT Expands International Sales Team with Experienced Agronomists
Tampa, Florida (25 April 2022) – BRANDT, a leading Ag retailer and manufacturer of specialty inputs for the agriculture, turf and ornamental markets, added three new members to the company’s international sales team. All three new hires will represent BRANDT’s extensive portfolio of Ag inputs, working to grow and support the company’s international distribution partners.
“As we focus on international growth, these three gentlemen will help us take our team to the next level,” said Ramon Georgis, VP, BRANDT International. “We welcome their experience, their passion and their commitment to global agriculture.”
Esmelvin Genao brings extensive knowledge of the agriculture market in the Dominican Republic. Genao was most recently a technical sales representative with Duwest Domincana and he holds an agronomy degree from the Universidad ISA, Santiago DR. He will report to Prospero DeLeon and focus on growing BRANDT’s footprint in the Dominican Republic.
With deep experience on the grower side of the Ag equation, Fernando Merello joins the BRANDT team, headed by Pablo Merello, in Chile. An agronomist specializing in fruit crops, Merello trained at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. He was most recently with Fresh Land Chile Exports; he also spent significant time in the brewery business.
Christos Papamanthou joins BRANDT to grow and manage distribution in Greece and the Balkan countries. With more than 15 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Papamanthou most recently worked in crop biostimulant technologies at EVYP, LLP. He will report to Christine Bassaber.
