BRANDT Bolsters International Sales Team
New Hires in Argentina and Morocco Add Depth to BRANDT’s Sales Team with Technical Expertise
Tampa, Florida (1 September 2022) – BRANDT has hired two to its international technical sales team to build its business in Morocco and Argentina. Both will be responsible for expanding distribution, increasing revenue and serving existing customers.
Reporting to Emre Erbas, Mustapha Elkertati will focus on business in Morocco. And Daiana Novella will report to Laura Battel and focus on growing business in Argentina.
“Because our portfolio is filled with highly technical ag products, we need to be highly selective with new sales representatives,” said Dr. Ramon Georgis, VP of BRANDT International. “These two individuals will fit in perfectly: They are seasoned, relationship-driven and highly technical. As such, they will be able to work with our customers to explain our product benefits. I am excited to welcome them to Team BRANDT.”
Novella graduated with a degree in agriculture engineering in 2018. For the past two years, she has worked at Nanotica Agro, a start-up focused on enhanced pesticide delivery systems using nanotechnology. While there, she was responsible for setting up and running R&D field trials, managing projects and developing go-to-market strategies.
At BRANDT, Novella’s initial responsibilities will be to support BRANDT’s Argentine distributor Enrique Baya Casal (EBC), a key player in the main grain growing regions of Argentina. She will be involved in sales force training, technical support to growers, running demo plots with key growers and coordinating trials at EBC.
Elkertati also holds an engineer’s degree in Agronomy with a focus on plant protection. Since 2018 he has worked at Agrimatco, where he managed the company’s specialties campaign and was the technical lead for the north zone of the company. Before Agrimatco, Elkertati worked at Elephant Vert Maroc, S.A. at a product registration manager.
At BRANDT, Elkertati will be responsible for finding, serving and building business in Morocco. His focus will be on high-value specialty formulations Ag products produced in the US and Spain. He will be responsible for increasing product registrations, expanding relation with BRANDT customers and supporting specialty products at the field level. In addition, Elkertati will improve BRANDT’s activities in the Maghreb region of Africa.
