BRANDT Reconfigures International Team, Welcomes Mauricio Andriao as Vice President

Tampa, Florida (August 18, 2025)— Mauricio Andrião is joining BRANDT as Vice President, BRANDT International as of September 1. In this expanded role, Andrião will be responsible for BRANDT’s business outside of the US and Canada, and he will also chair the newly formed International Board of Managers. He will report to the BRANDT Executive Team.

Andrião will assume BRANDT’s international leadership from Ramon Georgis, currently VP, International. Andrião and Georgis will collaborate to transition responsibilities before Georgis’ previously-announced retirement on December 31, 2025.

“BRANDT has been working and selling products internationally for more than 30 years and I think Mauricio will provide the business with a real shot in the arm in terms of leadership, accountability and focus,” said Rick Brandt, President & CEO of BRANDT. “That’s to take nothing away from Ramon. Ramon has worked and traveled tirelessly to build our brand, lay the foundation for our business and recruit a talented global team. We wouldn’t be where we are today without Ramon. I sincerely thank him for his service.”

In his new role, Andrião will be responsible for the direction, oversight and growth of BRANDT International. Building on his understanding of global agriculture, market trends and customer needs, his initial challenge will be to help the Executive Team restructure BRANDT’s international business into defined global geographic regions, while maintaining the unique Team BRANDT culture. Today, BRANDT’s products are sold in more than 85 countries and BRANDT’s international manufacturing is located in Brazil, Spain and South Africa.

“With an impressive background and a previous business transformation under his belt, Mauricio has proven that he can run complex operations and a positive P&L. My vision is to leverage his entrepreneurial skills to bring energy to our increasingly important international markets,” continued Brandt.

In addition, Andrião will chair the newly formed International Board of Managers. Consisting of BRANDT’s international equity partners, the International Board of Managers will include Wladimir Chaga from BRANDT Brasil, Manuel Gonzalez and Lucia Cepeda from BRANDT Europe and Isak Le Roux from BRANDT Africa. Reporting to the Executive Team, this Board will help define the BRANDT International strategic plan, set objectives for the business and track progress toward BRANDT’s vision.

“I am excited for this challenge,” said Andrião. “To me, the most important thing for any business is getting the team aligned with culture. And I loved the BRANDT culture from the minute I started talking to them: It’s all about family. I quickly saw how I’d fit in and how we could grow together.”

Andrião joins BRANDT after nearly 20 years in the biologicals and specialty fertilizer business, mostly at Stoller (now Corteva), working in different countries with increasing levels of responsibility. Born and raised in Brazil, he started as a technical sales rep at Stoller do Brasil before being promoted to regional manager of East and Northeast Brazil. Andrião then moved to South Africa where he became General Manager of Stoller South Africa. After four years, he was promoted to Business and Marketing Manager of Stoller EMEA. In his final role at Stoller, he was the General manager of Stoller Europe, working from Spain. After Stoller was acquired, he was the Biological Marketing Leader EMEA for Corteva Agriscience.

“BRANDT has all the components to be a defining global business: A strong team, unique products, deep relationships, and worldclass production. My goal is to help bring it all together and build on this foundation,” said Andrião. “In some ways, this role seems custom-made for me, as my strengths align with BRANDT’s key markets. I was born and raised in Brazilian agriculture; I turned around a business in South Africa; and I’ve been helping to solidify a business European business from Spain.”

“Also,” added Andrião, “I feel like BRANDT is a natural evolution from my time at Stoller, as Jerry Stoller started his career in what is now BRANDT Specialty Formulations before going out on his own.”

Andrião has an Executive MBA from Fundesem Business School (Spain) and an MSc. in Horticulture and Agronomy from the University of the State of Sao Paulo. He spent time in the American culture as an international exchange student in Alaska, and he put his education into practice running a vegetable farm as a young farm manager.

“We continue to on-board the next generation of leaders at BRANDT,” said Brandt. “With my daughter, Sierra-Shae, already on the Executive Team, we’re focused on building a deep bench by recruiting and retaining the key managers who will be here for the long term. We’ve done that in the US with people like Matt Ingram and Adam Ivey. Mauricio extends that strategy to our international business.”

Born in Brazil, Andrião has both Brazilian and Spanish citizenship. He will continue to live in Elche, Spain, with an office at the BRANDT global headquarters in Tampa, FL.
