BRANDT's Starich to Chair Western Plant Health Association Board

SPRINGFIELD, Illinois (October 25, 2018) – Tracy Starich, Sales Coordinator for BRANDT specialty formulations, has been appointed as Chairwoman of the Western Plant Health Association Board of Directors for the 2018-2019 term.

Tracy has been in agriculture for 24 years and is key part of BRANDT’s west coast operations in Fresno, CA where she coordinates procurement, inside sales and supports day to day operations. Tracy has been a member of the WPHA board of directors for four years before being named chair.

“I am honored to be elected Chair and to have the opportunity to represent BRANDT and the fertilizer industry,” said Starich. “Organizations such as WPHA are a critical part of ensuring that CA legislative leaders receive fact based information that supports agriculture and helps sustain a positive business environment for the plant health industry. I’m very proud to be a part of this.”

The WPHA helps support and advocate for agriculture and the plant health industry with legislative, regulatory and environmental groups in California, Arizona and Hawaii. The association helps promote environmentally sound use of plant health products and safe production of food, fiber and horticultural crops.
