Cal Poly Students Honored with Salmonson-BRANDT Scholarships
Fresno, California (May 14, 2024) – Two Cal Poly students have been awarded The John & Carol Salmonson Scholarship for Excellence in Agriculture for the 2023-24 academic year. Funded by the Salmonson family and BRANDT, a leading provider of professional agronomic services and manufacturer of specialty input products, these scholarships recognize exceptional students in the field of agriculture.
The 2023-24 recipients are Martin De La Cruz and Kami Paige Ramer. The John & Carol Salmonson Scholarships are open to students in the Cal Poly College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences. Each student received $10,000.

The John & Carol Salmonson Scholarship for Excellence in Agriculture was established in 2016 by matching grants from John & Carol Salmonson and BRANDT. Applicants must be California residents, demonstrate academic success and have financial need.
