Cour Promoted to Senior Associate General Counsel
(February 1, 2023) BRANDT, a leading manufacturer of specialty agriculture products and a retailer of agronomic services, has promoted Emily B. Cour to Senior Associate General Counsel. In this new role, Cour will provide advanced legal and strategic advice to all BRANDT companies, with a focus on the US domestic BRANDT businesses.
Cour will continue to be based in Springfield, Illinois. This new senior role will focus on complex legal issues including risk mitigation, business negotiations, IP protection and HR matters amongst others. Cour will report to R. Lee Allen, EVP & Chief Legal Officer.

Cour, a former partner in a Springfield, Illinois law firm where she practiced for 11 years, has been with BRANDT since 2016. She started as corporate counsel before being promoted to associate general counsel in 2020.
