Pennzoil 250 Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Justin Allgaier, driver of the No. 7 BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevrolet, came home with a strong second-place finish on Saturday afternoon in the NASCAR O Reilly Auto Parts Series event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Taking the green from 13th, the veteran Illinois native methodically worked his way through the field, finishing inside the top 10 in Stage One and in second in Stage Two.

During the third and final stage, Allgaier made a valiant charge to battle for the win with JR Motorsports teammate Carson Kvapil, coming up just shy of the victory to take the checkered flag in the runner-up position. With today's podium result, Allgaier earned his series-leading 14th top-five and his 12th top-three finish of the season.

"What a great day for everyone at JR Motorsports. To come away with having four of our cars in the top four is a testament to all of the hard work by everyone back at the shop. We had a really fast BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevrolet today. We just didn't have enough laps there at the end to see what we could do with Carson (Kvapil). But a huge congrats to him and that entire No. 1 team. It's really cool to see him get his first win. Now it's on to one of my favorite places in lowa in two weeks."
